June 1 celebrates International Children’s Day. The Republican Center of Folk Arts pays great attention to the development and support of children’s activity in arts and fosters their creative growth.
In order to create necessary opportunities for children ensembles and solo performers and to live up their creative potential there are multiple events held in the Republic of Bashkortostan: the Republican Festival of Children’s Choreography: «Khorovod Droozhby» (Circle of Friendship) in Tuymazy, the Republican Festival of Children’s Theater Ensembles «Kyngyrauzar syny» (Chime of the Bells) in Aurgazinsky district, The Republican Contest of Children’s and Youth’s Arts «Yaigor» (Rainbow) in Buraevsky district, The Republican Festival of Children’s Ballet and Children’s Pop Dance «Rhytmy Vremeni Bolshogo Urala» (Rhythm of Time of the Great Urals) in Neftekamsk, The Regional Contest of Dance Ensembles «Tantsevalny Serpantin» (Dance Seprentine Road) in Kugarchinsky district, The Republican Folklore Festival of Children’s and Youth’s Arts «Akbuzatta kunakta» (At the Akbuzat’s place) in Kuyurgazinsky district and many other events.
Multiple events have categories for children as well. Among them is The All-Russia Festival of Sesens (storytellers), The Interregional Contest of Bashkir Froning Songs «Ozon Kyui» (Long melody) in Tuymazy, The Republican Gaty Suleimanov’s Kurai Festival in Oktyabrsky, The Republican Ishmulla Dilmukhametov’s Contest of Authentic Bashkir Folk Songs Performance in Zilairsky district, The Interregional Contest of Bashkir Song Performers «Iryandek Mondary» - Songs of the Irandyk (Ural’s mountain ridge) in Sibay, The Republican Contest in Spoken Genre «Khudozhestvennoe slovo - Huth Kazare» (Art of declamation - Value of Word) in Salavat, and many other events.
Nowadays the Republic of Bashkortostan has 5950 active children ensembles at 13134 clubs, which comprise 80 000 performers. Every passing year their number is growing. Children show their high interest attending these ensembles and spending their spare time for their creative activity and achieving great success.
International Children’s Day is a bright day of the good, breathed by love and attention – by everything our children need. The staff of the Republican Center of Folk Arts heartily wishes our young generation great mood, sound health and fruition of dreams!
