The Arkhangelsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted the Republican Forum on applied arts with the title of “Traditional Bashkir costume in the central Bashkortostan”
The forum was organized in the context of the Republican forum “Yiryiu agasy” (the Family Tree). The participation was represented by over 30 people from 3 districts of Bashkortostan and the city of Ufa.
The forum was held via ZOOM by historians, ethnologists, re-enactors, artisans and folklore experts from the Bashkortostan’s colleges, universities and the Republican Center of Folk Arts.
The meeting covered the art of traditional costume sewing, special aspects of female and male costumes and technique of dress and headdress sewing, as well as the Jeweller’s art.
Upon completion of the forum the participants were awarded with certificates of participation and obtained cutting-out specimens.
