Alphorn
The Alphorn is a Swiss wind wooden music instrument. It is very long and to ease the transport, it can be split up. It's mainly played in Switzerland Swiss but it can be found in Austria, in Poland or whether in Romania. It was originally used to communicate, as a remotely way, when in mountains. It had helped people to warn villages of a danger, to invite citizen to come to church or whether to call shepherds so as to come back animals. Indeed, the sound could cover long distances.
