The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan has suggested the CIOFF® new dates of the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada – July, 3–10, 2021. The arrival of the participants in Ufa is planned for July 2, and their departure will be after the festival closing ceremony – on July 11, 2021.
The VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada is held every four years. Folklore groups from dozens of countries share their traditional culture through their dances, music, decorative and applied art and folk games. The VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada has been planned to be held in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the second half of July 2020, but in April 2020, like other grand international events, the Folkloriada was postponed to July, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
