In order to popularize native Bashkir language, customs and traditions as well as beauty of Bashkir ladies and to boost youth’s creative activity there will be held the All-Russia contest of the Bashkir beauties “Hylyukay 2020” (Bashkir “Hylyukay” – “the Beauty”).
Therefore, the casting for this yearly event has been already announced. First time this grand festival of beauty and talent will be held nationwide.
Unmarried and childless ladies aged 16 to 25 adhering to healthy living are invited for participation. The participants should belong to the Bashkir ethnicity, know the Bashkir language, culture and history, as well as possess their beauty and charisma. Physically young ladies are required to be shapely and over 165 centimeters tall. Participants’ stage and broadcasting skills and photos are considered as well.
The contest is being held in 2 stages:
Stage I. Regional stage in several regions of Russia and 9 set Areas in Bashkortosan.
October, 4 – Eastern Area round in the Burzyansky district in Bashkortotan;
October, 5 – Southeastern Area round in Sibay;
October, 9 – Contest round in Saint Petersburg;
October, 11 – Contest round in Moscow;
October, 13 – Contest round in Saratov;
October, 17 – Southern Area round in Sterlitamak;
October 22, 24 in the Kurgan Oblast and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region correspondently;
October, 30 – Southwestern Area round in Belebey;
October, 31 – Western Area round in Oktyabrsky;
November, 7 – Central Area round in Ufa.
Stage II. Final qualifying stage in Ufa on November, 7
The name of the winner is to be announced on December, 3 in Ufa. The winner gains the main prize – a car.
